How do I use the Exodus wallet? (Mobile)

Welcome to our step-by-step guide for setting up and using the Exodus wallet on your mobile device. This guide will help you receive, send, and securely store cryptocurrency for your first purchase at BTC Direct.

Step 1: Install the Exodus Mobile App

• Go to Exodus.io
• Download the app for iOS or Android
• Follow the installation instructions. The wallet is created automatically when you open the app.

Step 2: Receive Cryptocurrency

• Open Exodus and select the cryptocurrency you want to receive
• Tap "Receive"

• Tap the address to copy it, and paste it into your BTC Direct order form

  

Step 3: Buy Cryptocurrency using BTC Direct

• Select “Buy” from the home screen.
• Search for your preferred crypto and select it.
• Enter the amount of crypto you want to purchase.
• Select BTC Direct & payment method you’d like to use.
• Select the Buy button and complete the remaining steps.

Step 4: Create a Backup

• Tap the logo in the bottom right corner of the app
• Go to "Security" > "Backup"
• Write down the 12-word recovery phrase and store it offline

Important: This phrase gives access to your funds. Do not store it digitally or share it.
