What is a receiving address and where do I find it?

Every time you place an order we ask for the receiving address of your wallet. This way we know where we can send the coins. You can compare the receiving address with a bank account number: if you want someone to transfer money to you, you share your bank account number with this person.

You can find the receiving address in the wallet you created to manage your cryptocurrency. Each coin has its own type of alphanumeric address, and each wallet has its unique addresses. Do you manage multiple coins in one wallet? Then each coin has its own receiving address. 

• Bitcoin: A bitcoin receiving address starts with the number 1 or 3 or bc1.
• Ethereum: An ether receiving address always starts with 0X.
• Litecoin: A litecoin receiving address starts with the letter L or M.
• Ripple: A ripple (XRP) receiving address always begins with the letter R.
• Bitcoin cash: A bitcoin cash receiving address starts with the number 1 or 3, just like bitcoin. To make the distinction clearer, there are also addresses starting with the text bitcoincash:, or with the letter p or q.

Note: when you fill in your receiving address, always copy and paste this sequence. Do not try to type the address- you will be increasing the chance of making a mistake.
