If you cannot see your ETH in your Coinomi wallet, there is a way to recovery them in another wallet app by using the Private Key of that specific ETH-address.
In the following steps we will lead you through the recovery process on how to obtain your Private Key in Coinomi and to import it into another wallet platform. Once your ETH are recovered and accessible in another wallet platform; you to send them to a wallet you want to use or keep them in the ETH-wallet we are going to create.
This step-by-step article consists out of 4 chapters:
1. Get the Coinomi wallet address
2. Get your Coinomi Recovery Phrase
3. Get the Private Key of the ETH-address with a Recovery Tool
4. Import the Private Key in Trust-wallet
Please read and follow the instructions carefully
1. Get the Coinomi ETH wallet address
Get your Coinomi wallet address or Public Key. This is the address you have used to receive the Ethereum. This address is important because we need to find the Private Key connected to this address.
Find the wallet address
The address used in this example is 0x79 B3E1 **** **** fE75 59ac7
Take a screenshot of the address and copy and paste the ETH wallet address. Save it somewhere on your computer or device so you can find it, you need this wallet address later on to find your Private Key.
2. Get your Coinomi Recovery Phrase
Open your the Coinomi app. In your Coinomi wallet, go to 'Settings'.
Click on 'Manage Wallets'
Click on 'Recovery phrase / 24 words'. Here you will see a message, in which you must enter your password.
After this your Recovery Phrase will appear. You can follow the steps as shown in the screenshots below.
Write down your recovery phrase carefully and keep it very safe! You will need this phrase in the next step to get the Private Key of the Ethereum wallet address.

3. Get the Private Key of the ETH-address with a Recovery Tool
Never share the Private Key or Recovery Phrase with anyone. If you share the information generated by the Recovery Tool or the Recovery Phrase, anyone can steal your assets.

1. It’s recommended to run this link on an offline device, you can right click the link and save the link as .html to run the file offline
Go to https://iancoleman.io/bip39/
2. Enter the Coinomi Recovery Phrase into the 'BIP39 Mnemonic' field
3. Change the 'Coin' in the dropdown menu to 'ETH – Ethereum'
4. Select at 'Derivation Path' the 'BIP32'-tab
5. Aat 'Client' select 'Coinomi'
6. Make sure the 'BIP32 Derivation Path' matches with your address. If this is not matching, please check if you have done the previous instructions correctly.

For now, return to the Coinomi app.
6.1 Select 'Ethereum' and go to the three dots in the right top corner.
6.2 Select 'Account details' which shows the 'Derivation path'
Return back to the recovery tool.
7. To get the Private Key, match your wallet address or Public Key with the list shown in Derived Addresses and copy the Private Key associated with it.
In this case the used address 0x79 B3E1 **** **** fE75 59ac7 with Private Key is the first one shown in the table.
Keep the Private Key safe! After importing to recover the ETH, you could erase the Private Key.
4. Import the Private Key in Trust-wallet
After receiving the Private Key you have to import this key into a wallet. The wallet used in this article is Trust-wallet.
Please note that Trustwallet is a suggestion, make your own decision on which wallet platform you wish to import your ETH wallet.
You can download the Trust-app in the Playstore or Appstore.
1. Open Trust-wallet app
2. Go to 'Settings', at the gear top-left of the screen
3. Select 'Wallets'
4. Select the plus icon at the top-right to add a wallet
5. Select 'Add existing' wallet
6. Select the coin, in this case 'Ethereum'
7. Select 'Secret phrase'
8. Select the tab 'Private Key' and paste the Private Key into the field.
9. Select 'Restore wallet', your coins are now restored! You can check the amount of coin in your Trust wallet.
10. An optional step, to check if the wallet address matches the wallet address in Trust with the one with Coinomi.
Click 'Receive' to show the Ethereum address.
The example address we have used was 0x79 B3E1 **** **** fE75 59ac7 and matches the address
The ETH is now accessible. You can keep them on the ETH wallet you have created by following the steps or send them to a wallet you want to keep them.
