Not able to download your Coinomi wallet on your Android device?
Since the new Android 13 update, it is not possible to download your Coinomi wallet again on your Android device with this version. You will see the following text in the store.
Import your Coinomi wallet into another wallet
Luckily, you can import your current wallet into another wallet platform. You will need to start within the Coinomi app itself, or if you already have your recovery phrase ready, you may skip this step.
In your Coinomi wallet, go to "settings". Click on Manage Wallets and click on "Recovery phrase / 24 words". Here you will see a message, in which you have to enter your password.
After this your recovery phrase will appear. You can follow the steps as shown in the screenshots below.
Trust Wallet
Now, you are able to import your wallet into another wallet platform. Trust Wallet is a registered wallet platform many people already use. Should you wish to import your wallet into another wallet platform you will need to search for a tutorial on the website of the wallet provider.
On the Trust wallet platform you can follow these steps:
- Open the Trust Wallet app, downloaded from: https://trustwallet.com/
- Read the notifications and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy if you agree by clicking on "Get started"
- Click on "I already have a wallet"
- Choose a 6 digit PIN number and follow the steps
- Select "Restore with secret phrase"
- Select "Multi-Coin Wallet"
- Click on the camera option to scan the QR code, or fill in the 24 words manually
After you have followed these steps, you will see your recovery phrase in the "Secret Phrase" text-box.
- Now click on Import.
Your (Coinomi) wallet is now successfully imported into the Trust Wallet app.
