There are emails in circulation in which the sender tries to convince you that he has sensitive information from you (for example, images or sounds from a visit to an adultwebsite). These emails indicate that you must transfer an amount in Bitcoin, otherwise the sensitive information will be forwarded to all your contacts.
Unfortunately, this type of email has already appeared in the past. The most recent versions usually mention a password; this seems to be proof that the extortioner has indeed access to private information. According to the authorities, these are actually passwords obtained through various hacking operations or data leaks. The police advise not to pay the scammers and to delete the email.
If you think you are a victim of this type of blackmail, we also strongly advise you to change your password immediately!
