Can I buy cryptocurrencies with a credit card?

Definitely! You can pay using Visa and Mastercard. We only accept physical credit cards with your own name on it.

Has your card not been verified by our platform yet? Then you can buy up to a total limit of 1,000 euros with this card. If you wish to remove this limit we need to receive a picture of this card at support@btcdirect.eu on which we can only see the last 4 digits and the full name on the card.

The picture will be immediately removed from our systems after verification. Verifications take place on weekdays from 09:00-22:00 and on weekends from 10:00-18:00.

Limits

The limits for creditcard transactions are as follows:

• Hero - €2.500 per day (24 hours).
• Satoshi - €10.000 per day (24 hours).

Please note:

The order limit for creditcards is always maximum 1000 EUR per individual order. This also applies when the creditcard is fully verified.

An example of what this would look like for a Hero level account:

2 orders of 1000,- euro
1 order of 500,- euro to reach your daily limit.
