To complete your sell order smoothly, it's important to send your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) promptly and with the correct network fees.
Key points:
-
Fees & speed: BCH transactions usually have low fees (e.g., 0.00001 BCH), but they may vary slightly based on network activity. Choosing a suitable fee ensures faster confirmation.
- 3-hour time limit: Your BCH must arrive within 3 hours after placing your sell order. Late transactions can lead to delays or cancellation.
How to calculate network fees:
- Use a blockchain explorer like Blockchair Bitcoin Cash Explorer to check current fee levels.
- Sending from a wallet (not an exchange) is recommended. Wallets let you set fees and usually process transactions faster than exchanges.
Sending tips:
-
One transaction per order: Always send the full amount in a single transaction. Multiple transactions can cause errors or delays.
-
Check the address: BCH does not require a destination tag, but make sure you're sending to a valid Bitcoin Cash address, not a Bitcoin (BTC) address.
How to confirm your transaction:
- Go to Blockchair Bitcoin Cash Explorer.
- Enter your sending wallet address in the search bar.
- Find your transaction by checking the recipient address and amount.
- Make sure the transaction status is marked "Confirmed."
If your transaction is pending or failed, the fee may have been too low. You might need to resend with a higher fee.
What if the transaction is delayed?
If your BCH arrives after the 3-hour window, the order may not be processed. In that case, we’ll contact you to return the BCH to your wallet.
Important: Refunds can take up to one month, as they are handled manually. Please make sure to send your BCH in time to avoid this delay.
